ISA 2025

The Investments and Securities Act 2025 (ISA) repeals the Investments and Securities Act No 29 of 2007 and provides for:

the establishment of Securities and Exchange Commission
the enlarged powers and functions of the Commission over the capital market;
a set of new market infrastructure and a wide-ranging system of regulation of investment and securities business in Nigeria, especially Mergers,
Acquisitions and Take-Over, and collective Investment Schemes.
